Hi everyone

Dava here with the latest You Tube cover from Matthew Jordan. This is his rendition of Pink’s “Just Give Me A Reason”. (a duet with Matt’s good friend and fellow You Tube musician, the amazingly talented Ali Brustofski.) If you like this, please consider sharing with your friends. The MJST is now on Pinterest!

Hi everyone,

The Matthew Jordan Street Team has a new home on Pinterest! There, we will continue to promote Matt’s music in much the same way as we do on Tumblr, Facebook, You Tube, and Twitter but with a little twist. Our Pinterest page will also include promotional articles for fellow street teamers and bloggers as well as tutorials on how to play various types of instruments.

It’s my hope that our Pinterest page will serve not just as a promotional tool for Matt, but as an educational tool for aspiring musicians and promotional groups. (and of course, provide a fun way to intereact with Matt’s fanbase.) You can follow us by clicking the link below:

I truly value the opinions of Matt’s fans as well as those of my fellow street teamers. So if anyone has an idea for something they’d like to see on our page or any ideas on how to make our page better, please don’t hesitate to contact me by using the comment section below or by sending me a private message.

Thanks,

Dava

AV Radio Interview

Hi guys,

Just an FYI: Matt was featured on American Veterans Radio as “Artist Of the Week”. As part of this event, AV Radio gave an interview with Matt yesterday at 4:00 p.m. I apologize for delay in sharing this information. I wasn’t sure I would be able to tune in due to work. However, you may download the interview by clicking the link below:

For a limited time, you can also visit the “Artist Spotlight” page of AV Radio’s website for a complete write-up on Matt. http://www.avradio.org/artistspotlight.htm All of his music will be featured on the site as well.

Happy Listening & Congratulations Matt!

Happy Birthday Matt!!!

Hi guys!

Well, it’s Valentine’s Day: A day for heart-shaped candies, chick flicks, romantic dinners with that special someone, and, in some cases a day for teardrops on guitars. But, for the Matthew Jordan Street Team, it’s also a day of celebration because February 14th also happens to Matthew Jordan’s birthday.

To honor this special occassion, The Street Team has created an event page on Facebook where we’re inviting fans from all over cyber space to post their favorite Matthew Jordan videos and playlists for the next 24 hours. (Though, of course, we invite you to share Matt’s music everyday, not just on his birthday.) We also encourage anyone interested to promote this event, (or host your own) on Twitter and Google +.

You may join in on The Matthew Jordan video marathon by following the link provided below:

Thank you guys and, Matt, we wish you the happiest of birthdays!

Hey folks! The first video of 2013 has arrived. Please enjoy Matt’s cover of One Republic’s “If I Lose Myself”.

Note: We have now begun the long process of moving this blog to its new Tumblr location. please stay tuned for further details.

Important Announcement!

Hi Guys,

Dava here with an important announcement. Last week, we (the street team and I) decided to move the blog to a new home here on Tumblr.com. We have created a new communal Tumblr account so that other members of the street team will have easier access to our blog and will be able to better contribute as they see fit.  I will post the URL for the new address as well as a prospective date for when the blog will be up and running again so you’ll know where to find us in the upcoming months.

Along with the move, readers may also expect a new, more efficent look
for the blog. The redesign will be lead by Marci. We will also be posting articles on music promotion so that we can draw in a readership of more artists and musicians while also providing advice for other street teams who may be working independently of a record company.

I predict 2013 will be the best year yet for Matt and The Matthew Jordan Street Team. I encourage all of you to contact me with any feedback and suggestions as we work to improve our promotional efforts.

Thank you!

Greetings from The Matthew Jordan Street Team! I hope you all are enjoying your holiday season thus far. For the last few weeks, Matt has been working on a special holiday video and I’m pleased to announce that as of yesterday, after much anticipation, it was finally uploaded to You Tube which means I can finally share it with all of you. Please enjoy this amazing medley of “Hark! The Harold Angels Sing” & The Little Drummer Boy”. On behalf of Matthew Jordan and The Matthew Jordan Street Team, have a very Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone!

Dava here. I know it’s been a while since I’ve last written. Things have been quiet at Headquarters lately, (Okay, The Matthew Jordan Street Team doesn’t have an official Headquarters. But it sounded cool, didn’t it?) Anyway, for those of you who have been going through M.J. withdraw, fear not! I’ve got your fix right here.

Matt is all about the holiday videos and I LOVE that about him. He usually releases a Christmas video sometime in December, (I’m sure you can expect one of those in the near future.) This year, however, he also decided to surprise us with a little Halloween fun. I hope you enjoy this trick, err…I mean treat starring Matthew Jordan and friends.

From all of us here at The Matthew Jordan Street Team, have a safe and happy Halloween. :)

The official music video for Matt’s latest single “Oxygen” featuring the very talented Whitney Peyton. “Oxygen” is available for download on iTunes and CDBaby.com. I think you’ll find that this song is very different from Matt’s previous material, but in a very good way!

“Oxygen” Song Lyrics

OXYGEN
(Matthew Jordan & Robert Strauss)
(Rap lyrics by Whitney Peyton)

I bleed you
Cut me and you flow from my veins
I breathe you
You’re in my blood like Oxygen

One truth
Whatcha can’t have
Whatcha can’t have
Is the thing that you always want
Like youth for an old man
Like you for me
Smooth move
Needin’ you bad
Drivin’ me mad
Cause it’s so damn impossible
In the dead of the night
You’re the ghost of a memory
I can’t seem to run away
You’re a part of my DNA

CHORUS
